Dr. Sergio Aguila graduated from UAG (Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara) School of Medicine in 1982. He also earned a biology degree from UAG. He continues his education every year through advanced training from dental leaders. He has been practicing in the High Desert since 1996 and is a member of the American Dental Association. He has been part of the Tri-County Dental Society and International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) organizations as well and has advanced training in dental implants from USC, Loma Linda and ICOI. Dr Aguila is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Try county dental Association, American Academy of Dental Implantology and international Congress of Dental Implantology with extensive post graduate training from UCLA,USC and Loma Linda University.
Dr. Aguila strives to excel as much as he can by learning about new technology and medical and dental sciences so he can provide the best possible services to his patients. He is committed to ongoing professional development in order to continually expand and refine his clinical and technical skills. He is passionate about dentistry and is knowledgeable about the most current dental techniques. He encourages twice yearly visits for cleanings and examinations so we are able to identify any concerns as soon as possible.
Dr. Sergio Aguila, our Victorville dentist, is also available for long-term oral care. If you are suffering from teeth pain, gum disease, TMJ, sleep apnea, bite problems, teeth staining or are in need of bridges, crowns or implants, he is able to care for all of these needs. He wants to be the one to identify your concerns and care for them. This ability of Dr. Aguila puts you at ease since he has been with you from the beginning. Our office uses the latest in digital dental radiographs, digital 3D radiographs (CBCT), digital photography, and polarized infrared light (diagnocam technology) to offer the safest and most accurate diagnosis. The 3D (CBCT) is a wonderful technology employed to evaluate root-canalled teeth for cracks and chronic infections that potentially leak pathogenic bacteria into your body. When needed, this technology is used to perform simple guided flap-less implant surgery. This is the least traumatic and least painful implant procedure.
